Total War: Medieval 2 has a command console you can activate on Android/iOS devices and Windows PCs. That console enables you to activate a variety of Total War: Medieval 2 cheats for campaigns. You can bring up the console on a tablet or mobile by simultaneously tapping the top left and right corners of the screen for a couple of seconds. Or press the ` key on PC or mobile device keyboards. You can then activate these handy Total War: Medieval 2 cheats with the command console.

Boost Your Faction’s Budget

If you ever need a bit more wonga in Medieval 2, you can get it by activating this cheat. Input add_money [amount] into the command console and press Enter on the keypad. Replace [amount] with a value to increase your budget. For example, entering add_money 1000 inside the console and pressing Return will give you 1,000 more.

To activate the cheat, enter control [faction name] inside the command console. Replace [faction name] with a real faction name. For example, the control England command will switch you to England. Include the faction names shown on the diplomacy panel within your commands.

Increase Settlement Population

You can boost a settlement’s population with this Total War: Medieval 2 cheat. Enter the add_population [settlement name] [value] command into the console. For example, activating an add_population London 2000 cheat command will increase the population of London by 2,000.
