Obsidian Entertainment’s Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II is the second entry in the critically acclaimed Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic series. Like the first entry in the series, KOTOR II is a role playing game with heavy focus on player choice and character alignment. This game has a character alignment system that tracks the player character’s dark or light side alignment by allowing the player to accumulate dark or light side points through their in-game choices. Aligning one’s character to the light side or the dark side can effect one’s gameplay experience. For example, light and dark side characters have access to different Force powers. This guide will teach players how to use an exploit to gain infinite dark side points upon reaching the planet Telos.

Travel to Telos and Defeat Batu Rem
To use this exploit, the player must first complete the beginning of the game on Peragus II. After finishing this part of the game, players will get a distress call that originates from Telos. Use the navigational chart behind Atton on the Ebon Hawk in order to travel to Telos.
Use the star map behind Atton to travel to Telos
Upon the player’s arrival to Telos the Telos Security Force will place the player and their party under arrest in force cages. Here the player must defeat the bounty hunter Batu Rem. After this, the Telos Security Force will place the player under house arrest in a dormitory. Here the player should rest. Chodo Habat, the leader of the Ithorians on Telos, will interrupt this rest by calling the player requesting help.
Gain Influence With Chodo Habat
Next, visit the leader of the Ithorians, Chodo Habat at the Ithorian compound, and focus on gaining influence with him. Gain influence with him by choosing dialogue options that are supportive of the Ithorian’s cause, and by completing quests for the Ithorians.
The Ithorian Compound is located at the very bottom of the map of the Residential 082 West Module.
Infinite Dark Side Points Exploit
After gaining influence with Chodo Habat, the player will be able to accept a quest called “Clearing the Air”. Complete this quest and demand a reward from Chodo Habat after helping the Ithorians. After completing this quest, the player should save the game in preparation for the exploit. After doing this leave and re-enter the conversation repeatedly and choose the same dialogue option. Each time the player does this they will receive dark side points. The player can repeat this exploit until they receive their desired amount of dark side points.
Gain influence with Chodo Habat in order to perform the infinite Dark Side points exploit
Using this exploit can throw off the balance of the game. The player should be sure that this is the path that they want to take before using the exploit. It’s important to save one’s game before pursuing this exploit. Once this exploit is performed, however, it will set the player character on the path to becoming a powerful Sith Lord!
