Coming at you, live and in color, from London, England. The WWE will host their annual Money in the Bank event from The O2 Arena in London. This particular evening is when the Money in the Bank briefcase is up for grabs, and those that are skilled (and lucky) enough to obtain it will earn a title shot against a champion of their choosing. With that, let’s see what might occur during the night at Money in the Bank.
Shinsuke Nakamura Wins Men’s Money in the Bank
Having already won the Royal Rumble in his career, I think that Shinsuke Nakamura has something more to prove within the company. He’s had an off-and-on momentum ever since that night when he outlasted 29 other men, and now I think it is time for him to win the Money in the Bank ladder match as well. He will be in the ring with other strong competitors, no doubt, but he will find a way to grab the contract when it is all said and done.
Bayley Wins Women’s Money in the Bank
The list of talent in this year’s womens Money in the Bank ladder match is no joke. It’s literally a close your eyes and pick type of matchup on who will win this bout because they are all such great athletes. Iyo Sky is coming off the loudest pop of her career down in Puerto Rico. Zelina Vega also has been on a solid run ever since joining the LWO, and if anyone said she would win this match…I wouldn’t say no to that. But, I am strictly going with Bayley because I think it would be cool to see someone win the Money in the Bank ladder match for a second time on the women’s side of things.
Dominik Mysterio Beats Cody Rhodes
With Brock Lesnar looming around, I can totally see Cody Rhodes losing to Dominik Mysterio at Money in the Bank. And this will be due to outside interference on Lesnar’s part. People will think that Rhea Ripley will get involved, seeing as both she and Dominik (or Dom Dom as she calls him) is in The Judgment Day. But, I don’t think that will be the case. Sometime throughout the match, Brock Lesnar will cost Cody the victory. Thus, propelling their rivalry forward even more.
Seth Wins Over Finn
There seems to be a slight tension within The Judgment Day, as of late…and this could be a small edge for Seth Rollins to defeat Finn Balor at Money in the Bank. After the miscommunication between Damian Priest and Finn Balor regarding Priest’s match with Seth which Finn Balor accidentally cost him the match, Damian Priest might return the favor at the event for Finn and accidentally cost him the world heavyweight title. Plus, I can’t see Seth “Freakin'” Rollins losing his World Heavyweight Championship this quickly in his first reign with it.
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn Beat Pretty Deadly
With the Usos breaking off from The Bloodline this Friday night on Smackdown, the landscape in the WWE is about to become more different. After Pretty Deadly won the tag team gauntlet match on Smackdown, they stamped their way to Money in the Bank to face off against Kevin and Sami at the event for the tag team titles. What gives the current tag team champs the edge is that now the Usos might interfere in the match to help Owens and Zayn pick up the victory, so they can challenge them for the titles in a sign of mutual respect, later down the road, now that they are no longer a part of The Bloodline.
There are my predictions for Money in the Bank in London.
Note: Kevin and Sami versus Pretty Deadly match happened a night before MITB.
