This is going to be the eleventh event that will be held in Saudi Arabia, and the first King and Queen of the Ring tournaments since 2021. Which was also held in Saudi Arabia. A lot of action has already taken place ahead of this event by means of having qualification matches for both tournaments.
Since the finalists don’t get completely revealed until after this week’s SmackDown, we are going to look at the two of the finalists (Gunther and Lyra) and make a prediction on who of those two has a better chance at winning the crown. Here are the five predictions for the King And Queen Of The Ring PLE.
Gunther Has a Better Chance to Win the Crown than Lyra
I can see Lyra Valkyria having a more difficult time obtaining the crown than Gunther. The reason for this is because I think Nia Jax will beat Bianca Belair on this upcoming’s SmackDown, and then Nia will face Lyra at the finals in Saudi. I don’t believe that Lyra can beat Nia Jax at this point in her career, as she is just getting started on the main roster against the veteran of Nia. Gunther has been on a tear on the main roster and is the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion in the company’s history. I see him beating either Randy Orton or Tama Tonga.

Nia Jax Becomes the Next Queen
Following up on my previous prediction, I see Nia Jax winning the Queen of the Ring tournament at King And Queen Of The Ring, and becoming the next queen in the process. Since her return to the company, Nia Jax has been on a mission to prove her dominance within the WWE. Nobody is safe from the irresistible force.
Does Nia Jax become the new queen?
If she wins, Nia will be the second woman to wear the queen’s crown after Zelina Vega did it in 2021.
Liv’s Revenge Tour is Derailed in Saudi
Ever since putting Rhea Ripley on the shelf for a while, Liv Morgan has been on her revenge tour trying to make a statement in the women’s division. But her sights are currently set on Becky Lynch and the championship that she holds.
Liv’s revenge tour rolls through Jeddah
I don’t think that Liv is walking out of Jeddah as the champion just yet. She needs to at least pick up one loss against Becky Lynch (cause it’s Becky) before she captures gold.
Sami Defeats Gable and Reed
Sami Zayn, believe it or not, has more at stake in this upcoming triple-threat match than Bronson Reed and Chad Gable do. He has to prove that beating Gunther at WrestleMania wasn’t a one-time fluke. This match I expect to be an interesting one. Chad Gable was the person who trained Sami leading to his WrestleMania match, and now he feels like he has to take matters into his own hands when it pertains to the Alpha Academy. He believes that he has been too nice and not focusing on the goal of obtaining the Intercontinental Championship.
Triple-Threat match
Cody Rhodes Defeats Logan Paul
Both competitors have a lot on the line. They are walking in this match wanting to put their stamp on the respective titles that they hold. Neither one wants to show cracks in their game. Although this match has the potential to end in a draw due to disqualification and thus no one loses their championships (as both titles are on the line,) I’m going with Cody Rhodes winning the match and becoming a grand slam champion in the process.
