GamereactorTV has made an interesting interview with David Braben, the man in charge of Elite: Dangerous. He talks about the past, about the near future. How should the game be played (there is no campaign or single player story but you MAKE the story how you live in the Elite universe). Plus something about Occulus Rift and continuous addons to the game.
You can see that David is really enthusiastic about the game (it would be strange if not :-)) and he also confirmed that it is going to be released later this year.
