Doretha's subject matter expertise began as a software developer at Aetna Insurance Company automating Medicare Part B financial systems and United Technologies Pratt & Whitney maximizing ROI on factory automation systems then CEO of The Computer Institute government contracting for 10 years engaged in non-profit financial planning to achieve ROI for IT investment projects prior to joining IBM. Her diverse range of skills cover all areas of finance, she is PMI PMP certified and has 34 years as adjunct college professor in business and computer science graduate and undergraduate programs, including a role as Dean of Academics.

Her 24 years at IBM advising hundreds of clients to achieve capital budgeting and forecasting goals not only fuels her passion for fintech, real estate wealth building, and early retirement planning, but also powers the insights shared with her students to inspire their understanding of portfolio diversification, risk-reward concepts and how fiscal and monetary policies can all lead to exponential growth and achievement of personal financial security.

In addition to managing her real estate trust, Doretha's knowledge of sofi money, retail investing in equities and cryptocurrency markets (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Alt-coins) allows her a rare skill to assess the impacts that blockchain technologies and smart contracts will have on decentralized finance and security valuation on all exchanges.
