You Got Served (2004)
I could watch this all day.
This movie was the most extraordinary thing I have ever witnessed in my entire life. Movies that have have more dancing than acting are not usually called movies but instead dance recitals, however, this is an exception. It reminded me of when I was 10 years old and my little sister had a dance recital and all my relatives came in and everyone was so proud. It was a great feeling, sort of like how Christmas feels.
Long story short, check this movie out. You may forget it is a movie because there are no real actors in it and no plot either, but just forget all that. There's a whole lot of dancing, and sometimes that is what life is all about.

Big Fat Liar (2002)
The main question is: can this movie get any better?
This is not only the greatest kid's film of its year, but a great movie for anyone between the ages 4 months to somewhere around 96 years old. When Paul Giamatti is turned blue, I lose my breath. It is an incredible metaphor, although many may disagree. Our fearless hero, Jason (played by Shakespearean and longtime theater actor Frankie Muniz), is reminiscent of Ben Hur and Lawrence of Arabia. In other words, a character so powerful and awe-inspiring, it makes you believe that they are almost a second coming of good old JC himself.
The scene where Jason (Muniz) and female lead Amanda Bynes try on clothes and props in the movie studio may make you laugh, but it proves to be the film's most poignant and memorable scene. This too is a metaphor, for trying different things in life. In other words, next time you feel like breaking into a movie studio and aimlessly knocking props over and wearing movie costumes that actually do cost money, do it. And that is an important message to get from the movie.
The Olsen Twins Mother's Day Special (1993)
What a horrible experience.
Being a Mother's Day movie, I figured I would show this dandy little number of a film to my mother. I thought we could make a day out of it, and spend Mother's Day with the two little girls who captured our hearts in the late eighties, with their snappy one-liners and first-rate charm. Boy, what a disaster.
This movie changed my life for the worse, as it is bottom of the barrel garbage disguised as a film about devious twins celebrating Mother's Day. My mom has not spoke to me since, and I was kicked out of the house and on the streets after a half hour of this wonderful mistake. I would like to thank the Olsen twins for my 3 day residence behind the dumpsters at Denny's following the movie, and my current lifestyle as a adult video store part-time clerk. Thank you very much.
Camp Nowhere (1994)
This movie made me wanna kill myself.
Camp Nowhere is easily the most dismal film I have ever seen. The concept was just ridiculous to the point in which I cried for 3 weeks after viewing this flying nugget of garbage. With cliches galore and the ridiculously forced glorification of children, this movie is as predictable as a movie can be. Christopher Lloyd once again picks yet another clunker to add to his resume, and yes, somehow he managed to overwhelmingly top Suburban Commando.
This is the worst movie I have ever watched without a shadow of doubt. I hope all of the actors involved are currently near-bankrupt and working at the closest Denny's to their respective homes.
Swingers (1996)
This Movie is MONEY...
I know i copped that from another reviewer, but hey, it was so right on. What a funny, cool movie that just keeps you smiling for like, ever. Every time I see this movie, and I have seen it 3 times so far, I walk around for like a week calling everyone and everything, money. Then I wake up to what a jerk i sound like, but for that week or so, it's so much fun calling everything money. Great dialogue, really solid acting and lots of money. I love this movie.
Josie and the Pussycats (2001)
Top of the line.
This is one of the best movies of all time. A female Spinal Tap if you will? Rachel Leigh Cook is the best actress and I definitely think she has a huge future. Her performance here was definitely Oscar-caliber and maybe she will get the golden guy next time around. The real star of this movie was Carson Daly. Can we say out of character? Carson plays a cold blooded hitman in this film, as he stretches one of the top debuts I have seen in my 63 years of life. This man has range, and you heard it here first: Carson Daly will be the biggest actor of the 21st century. Carson has the comic timing of one Gilbert Gottfried and the dramatic presence of Eric Roberts in his early career. I can't wait to see Carson receive his first leading role, but as long as he is on screen, I am ready to face the world!
Casablanca (1942)
one word YuCK
The best part of this movie was when peter lorre walked in with a gun....and that wasnt even close to the scene in Titanic..with the hottie, Leo. the chemistry between Humfrey Bogard and Ingrid Berman is awful...not comparable to the homosexual chemistry between dan aakroyd and Danny Stern in Celtic Pride(i have noted this b4 in a [previous review) The philepeno burglars made this movie what it was....and face it...who wants to see a movie in black and white...that was the kiler and i give it a bad grade
MY RATING- 1 outta 10 1 star
Mitchell (1975)
Stunned silence.
Mitchell is the single greatest movie of the 1970's. Joe Don Baker turns in the performance of his career, playing a man torn between a hooker, booze, and a plot that makes no sense. Mitchell is an incredible cop, who can do such things as be shot at from behind for minutes and then get a gun and shoot down 3 men in 3 shots. He could be compared to Zeus, king of the Greek gods, for his sheer power that cannot be matched by any other. I was very impressed with Martin Balsam's butler. He was a really good butler. I also enjoyed the car chase scene. It was a thrilling chase scene that really tied the movie together well. I give Mitchell a 73 out of 10 because it is the movie that changed my life.
Sugar & Spice (2001)
Three syllables : Breathtaking
When I first started watching this movie on Cinemax, apprehension would be an understatement. Three minutes later, I was hooked...no turning back. Quite possibly the most important 90 minutes of my life were spent watching this cinematic manifesto of some of the world's most controversial issues: teen pregnancy, the right to carry arms, and young marriage.
I have to say I felt a more educated man after watching these people perform these....roles (although they felt more like my best friends and closest family members once this movie finished). It is no surprise that within days after I completed viewing of this motion picture, my friends and neighbors commented on my improved verbal and emotional skills. Please everyone, for your own sake, find some way to have your eyes meet "Sugar & Spice".
Almost Famous (2000)
Good depiction
I wasn't born until 1983, but this movie paints a perfect picture of what the times must've been like. I particularly liked Jason Lee in his role, as I felt he was hidden behind Crudup. Jason Lee is one of the freshest and most underrated young actors around and hopefully he will get his due. The Tiny Dancer scene is incredible, and I could watch that scene all day.
Celtic Pride (1996)
Best Boston basketball hostage movie of the 1990's?
This is the single greatest Boston basketball hostage movie of the 1990's. Damon Wayans is reminiscent of a young Poitier in his role of Lewis Scott, a man who was born to play the game. The problem is, two Boston basketball fans do not want to see Scott and his Utah Jazz defeat their beloved Boston Celtics. So they kidnap him. The homosexual chemistry between Daniel Stern and Dan Aykroyd is a delight, as it is rare that Kevin Arnold and Beldar Conehead can live together in eternal bliss. Celtic Pride mixes themes of anti-basketball hostage and gay rights in a march to the finish line in the marathon of film. It's a shame that Daniel Stern did not receive the Oscar for his exquisite role as Mike O'Hara, a homosexual alcoholic father who really only needs his lover (Aykroyd), and the Boston Celtics. Three hurrahs for director Tom DiCerchio!
Eegah (1962)
GREAT MOVIE
This movie shows pure heart, giving strength, and eating. I love this movie.Richard Kiel has an oscar-winning performance as a lone caveman living with his dead ancestors.Arch Hall Jr.'s ugly face lights up the screen. Great directing is key in this movie.
MY rating - 10 out of 10
The Fast and the Furious (2001)
Dismal.
If I wanted to watch cars go really fast, I would turn on ESPN2 at 3 in the morning instead of paying 9 dollars to watch pretty people do it. I am not sure but I do not think there was a plot, but maybe there wasn't supposed to be. I would say this movie is successful though, because it actually pulled off making that much money without plot or acting ability. Looks like times have changed.
Went to Coney Island on a Mission from God... Be Back by Five (1998)
Can't believe didn't get recognition
What an incredibly subtle yet poignant and worthwhile film. I couldn't believe how much it made me think and I liked it more and more after I saw it. Stunning visuals, as they are not technically brilliant, but more give the absolute perfect mood that is needed. Rick Stear is excellent, and I am surprised he hasn't done more. Overall, just a well-done movie. 9.5 out of 10.
Memento (2000)
Blew my mind.
After hearing some hype and information about this movie, I was inclined to check it out. I figured I would like it, but wasn't positive on what to expect. I had no idea how unbelievably original and incredibly breathtaking Memento was. The entire concept alone was enough to keep my eyes glued to the screen, loving every second of what I was watching. The twists and turns that the film undergoes kept me on the edge of my seat, and the plot and script were simply enthralling. Everything about this film was perfect, and it is now easily my favorite movie ever.
