Seriously?! Why does the show even exist? It's clearly ripping of Unikitty and that is a way better show! Fair enough it's not great by any means but it's a fun, cute, energetic show with lots of laughs, while this... this is anything but! Honestly the animation looks so bad and I can't believe this was actually made by Nickelodeon too. The one great animation studio of such classics like rugrats, hey Arnold and older seasons of spongebob. The only good modern animated show they have is the loud house, and while I haven't been watching it consistently, I know it's a good enough show, but that's it. Cartoon Network have seriously been riding high with a lot of their recent animated shows like adventure time, regular show and Steven universe, the first tow which have sadly ended now, but that's besides the point. although it'd be interesting to see what this show would be like if unikitty didn't exist although I'm sure that'd be impossible as it's so obivious it's a ripoff, even a little kid who's seen both shows can tell which one is the better one. I'm sorry if I sound a bit repetitive but this is the first review I've ever done here on IMDB, as I only just look at other people's reviews and nothing else but I just had to get my opinions out there. I'm a huge fan of animation but this is not the reason why I still love it today! Far from it!

I have trouble understanding why people are defending this show. Sure it's not the worse thing in the world, but what ever happened to creativity? We're getting a Loud House spinoff and now a SpongeBob spinoff. Nick is relying a lot on nostalgia and off what worked in the past besides making the next big thing. There's even a new show based of a YouTuber that's coming out.

It's not even like how people thought Johnny Test was a rip off of Dexter. It wasn't this blatant. Even Johnny Test was more focused on the test subject aspect instead of the geniuses themselves. For this, the title of the show it's trying to take from is in the title of the actual show. Some executive somewhere thought they liked Unikitty and said hey..... how about instead of a unicorn kitty we have a butterfly unicorn kitty BAM... TV show.

Even if there are a few obvious differences it's pretty much the same kind of humor but worse. It lacks that energy that Unikitty had and with lower tier comedy worse animation and worse characters. Honestly, knowing that other show exists means I do not want to watch this one. They could have done something entirely new here but they decide to alter something that already exists.

Come on guys is still think that Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty is a rip-off to Unikitty and it's my 14th least favorite show next to Herman And Katnip, Chuggington and Underground Ernie, even though people claim that this show is based on a meme while Unikitty is based on The Lego Movie: Boring.

This is trash so bad I almost beat my tv and then myself after that I wanna beat up the creator tbh I wouldn't watch I hope it gets canceled like honestly what were you thinking nick

This show really feels like it was written by adults who were so sure they understand what kids like, and were basing it on old trends popular years ago like "lol so random" humour, obsessions with bacon, sparklecats/dogs, and ultra-detailed grotesque closeups straight from Spongebob. It feels like a reject cartoon from the mid 00s. The animation is really painful to look at; weird tweening, characters that are rendered in a totally different style than the backgrounds, and the colour palettes always clash. Ultimately feels really rushed and like an insincere cash grab.

This show tried to be funny and it's not it's just annoying and if your kid watches it they are a cancer such a cringe show i doubt it will even get past the first season before pulling the plug witch is good if you kid watches it or you do stop it before you become a hated person and the kid turns out to be you know what

Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty is a lot more colorful than Unkitty. At least they have real names.

Many here note it's a Unikitty ripoff. I want to judge it on its own merit, so let's pretend Unikitty doesn't exist.

The premise is that it's about a pink kitty that is also a unicorn, a butterfly and has superpowers. It's everything the little girl loves. That is why it was likely green lit for production.

Except for that one thing, there is nothing else of value. The plots are boring and are filled with random things happening. The characters, including felicity the rainbow butterfly cat thing are boring and uninteresting. The town where everything takes place in is uninteresting. And on top of all that, the audio is atrocious. It's filled to the brim with constant sound effects that overstimulate the brain of any child watching this.

And, again, it's just so boring. Isn't it a surprise then that the pilot episode got 880.000 viewers and everything after that 10.000-20.000? No it isn't. It sounded like an adorable premise, but it contains nothing. Cancel it already.

This show is very cute! There's a lot of people who think this show is a Unikitty rip off but it is not. You won't know until you watch it. Don't judge a book by its cover.

I Hate This Show So Much This Show Is Absolutely Garbage this was the worst show on nicktoons i hope that show gets cancelled. I'm going to be honest, I've only ever watched a part of one episode of this entire show, and yeah, its basically just UniKitty but with brighter and more exaggerated colors.

It's not the worst but not the best of nick, I don't understand why Felicity has to have so many powers, its like the mary sue OC I used to have.

But back to the UniKitty thing, I would say Unikitty is better in ways, but I can't say much since I've watched Unikitty beginning to end and only one episode of this show, but they do take a BUNCH of inspiration from the show.

Idk, I just cant see a way this show can work...

In the dawn of Nick's animation renaissance, They created Felicity the cat with extraordinary powers. I figured this would be a clone of Unikitty which isn't having any luck on Cartoon Network.

But I think this show has some potential vs. Spongebob. If there was only one cartoon to choose from, it would be Rainbow, Butterfly, Unicorn, kitty.

This show has some of the best animation nick has done since Invader Zim in 2001. I hope they continue with this show and hopefully kill off spongebob for good!

This Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty is basically a rip off of Unkitty. However, I do like the colors.

I think this show is amazing and way better than that stupid Unikitty biach from the Lego Movie, she didn't deserve a TV show! Felicity is a way better kitty with more powers and stuff! I also love the music in the show! I'm a huge metal fan and love when Miguel plays his guitar! The only thing I find annoying in the show is the cringy live action teletubby sun and moon, they give me the creeps, but that is not gonna stop me from loving the show! Just GO WATCH IT NOW!!!!!

I Absolutely Love This Show, Definitely More Than Unikitty I Have To Say, Plus This 4 Way Combo Actually Existed All This Time Before The Unikitty Show Came Out, So It's Definite No Rip Off. This Animation Is Well Done, The Intro Was Very Good, My Favorite Character Of The Series Is Felicity. Very Soon Paramount Needs To Do A DVD Release Of This Show When Possible, It Definitely Deserves It. 10/10 Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty Is An Awesome Nickelodeon Show Of 2019!! I love Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty. What you'll notice straight away is that it's a very colourful show and it's always a pleasure to look at it. The characters are fun too, Felicity, Miguel, Yana the Yeti, they all have their own creative personalities! The stories are pretty interesting too, there are usually problems and it's exciting to see how Felicity and Friends will solve them.

Unfortunately there are a lot of haters of this fun show and their only reason is because "It ripped off Unikitty" which is a total lie since this show is based on a classic meme that came WAY before Unikitty itself.

I'd love to see this show renewed for Season 2, it deserves another chance..

I really enjoyed every episode of Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty, it has great stories, characters and amazing music. In every episode, Felicity and her friends usually have to face a problem either with friendship or Felicity's Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty powers. It usually has some great messages / morals at the end too. People hate it for being a "Unikitty rip-off" but both shows are completely different and i find RBUK wayyy better.

The date for the 2nd season has been written by a scumbag troll, we receive the date for s2 when Rich says so, no one else.

Most of these negative reviews are from 7 year old children or grown men crying about how it's a "ripoff" from Unikitty.

1. The main character is based on a internet meme from years ago

2. This was meant to premiere a few months after Unikitty, shows can take YEARS to produce, not to mention there's a toyline which probably took a while to plan and produce, I very much doubt that they looked at Unikitty and wrote, scored, animated and produced 52 episodes and toyline in a few months.

3. Why would they want to copy Unikitty? Unikitty BOMBED in ratings, it would make no sense to copy something that isn't successful

4. Actually watch the show, I guarantee that all of the people crying about how it's a ripoff haven't actually watched the show. At first glance I can understand why people think it's a ripoff, I did too at first, but don't judge a book by its cover. It's not a great show by any means but it is a fun easy watch. Animation can look cheap at times but also looks great at times, the music is very catchy and fun, the writing and jokes can get a chuckle out of you occasionally and the characters all have their own personalities.

I'm giving this 5 stars because it's an enjoyable cartoon and majority of the ratings are "waaaa it's a ripoff of something completely different".
