It's a good story but the emotional aspects runs uncontrollably sad. There are too many evil and disturbed characters in this series and they often act out in violence. I'm glad it's a mini series of 13 episodes or else I would not bother to watch this series. Without giving spoilers, what keeps me watching is the interesting story and a few of the characters like Elvan (the main female lead), Selim (her son - this boy can really act), Fuat, Elvan's sister and Atif who was initially portrayed as a coward and weak person but developed into a responsible man. Seray's character infuriates me a lot and you really wonder why her character is written like that. She's supposed to be the second lead female but I can't seem to like her character. I did not like the undue sufferings inflicted upon Elvan and many times felt like giving up the series because of this. In any case, it's an interesting story and has only 13 episodes, so it's ok to watch it but I confess I had to fast forward many scenes.
