A wonderful ending to a wonderful story ! Seeing everything set up in the first season come together, the characters' motives clash and the animation shift along with the story's focus and tone was more than rewarding!
I haven't played the visual novel, so I can't compare, but to me it stands well enough on its own. I can't list off many series that have made me feel as much as this one, it can't be said that it's just a tearjerker. Highly recommend !
