- TriviaToward the last of the flashbacks of Oliver and Shane's dinner at Montaldo's, as they dodge the tricky issue of whether or not they are more than "just friends," in the background a piano plays the classic hymn "What A Friend We Have in Jesus."
- GoofsAlthough this movie was originally released in July, it takes place in February. The movie refers to the previous movie Signed, Sealed, Delivered: From the Heart, set during Valentine's Day, and in fact picks up the day after the previous movie on February 16th, 2 days after Valentine's Day, and the day after Oliver and Shane's date at Montaldo's. Given that it is February, and that the setting is in Denver, it would be very cold. When everyone is gathered outside Curly Dudley's home, everyone is wearing a jacket, sweater, or coat, except Rita. Rita is wearing a short, sleeveless dress meant for spring or summer. She would have been freezing.
- Quotes
Shane McInerney: Oliver, Lester is an idiot and Steve... I have been over him for a very long time.
Oliver O'Toole: You owe me no explanations Miss McInerney.
Shane McInerney: Because you and I are just... friends?
Oliver O'Toole: That was an unfortunate turn of phrase I'm afraid.
Shane McInerney: So what was tonight? Was it a date? Or was it just our long promised dinner?
Oliver O'Toole: I don't know.
[Shane looks at Oliver with disbelief]
Oliver O'Toole: It was supposed to be a quiet dinner with good company and good conversation. And I did want it to be someplace special. And I wanted to dance.
Shane McInerney: [Holding back tears] Oliver I never danced with any of the others here. I only... I only dance with you.

One in a Million is the follow up to the Valentine episode and it starts right where that one finished...with Shane and Oliver's first date. They didn't exactly ride off into the sunset together and the awkward details of their dinner are slowly revealed throughout the episode. Oliver told the waitress they were just friends, which starts Shane spinning...creating an uncomfortable environment for everybody! The postables are asked to help Mail security solve the case of missing mail. A thief has stolen the mail from several boxes across town and left little clues behind at each...there is a stuffed goose, a wedding cake topper, a can of kidney beans, and a quote in Latin. They find a witness, Shane and Oliver's waitress from the night before and try to get a compilation sketch off of her observations. One more twist...the waitress is desperate to get a mailed letter back that she sent to her then boyfriend who is now her ex.
"Love is like dancing...don't look down"-Ramon
There is a lot going on and I was thrilled to have the cast back...Shane, Oliver, Norman and Rita, with an appearance by Oliver's father Joe O'Toole played by the returning Gregory Harrison.
This series is just the best, with an emphasis on sentiments from the past, it's always about being a good person and doing the right thing. I like that there is an emphasis on Love and how it is never wrong to love.
"There is a vast difference between choosing a good man and finding the right man. I hope you don't give up until you find both."-Oliver
Personal note, I absolutely love Rita's yellow floral dress and matching vintage inspired yellow and blue necklace.
"Sometimes you just have to have a little faith."-Oliver.
