Anshul highlighted the qualities of Karan that aided him in portraying the elder brother on screen more effectively.
Anshul said: “Karan Mehra, was my step-brother in the show and observing how he approached that role was an example I could draw from. From him, I learnt the art of patience. He is a very patient and calm person, even when things go wrong. I’m quite the opposite, so observing how he handled situations has been a valuable lesson for me.”
“I focused on being calmer than the younger one. For instance, in a scene where we were involved in a hit-and-run, I felt equally scared.

New Delhi, May 9: The cruel, manipulative mother-in-law out to exploit the devoted daughter-in-law was not too long ago the staple of films as well as TV soaps. Well, movies have moved on and so it seems has the small screen that is keeping pace with the changing times.
Showmakers and actors say the small screen monster-in-law is giving way to the empathetic, understanding mother-in-law for a more realistic portrayal of the age-old, often tricky equation. Love your 'bahu' is now the mantra as the long held image of small screen mothers-in-law undergoes a makeover.
Ravindra Gautam, who has directed serials like "Kasautii Zindagi Kay", "Uttaran" and "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain", says the change has come because the audience is.

New Delhi, Jan 25: Popular TV actors Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar are set to get intimate once again on the popular show "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain".

New Delhi, March 16: Time was when, on television, love used to be expressed with a comforting hug, a peck on the cheek or a warm embrace in dimly lit settings. Little did the Indian viewer imagine watching 30 minutes of steamy romance, replete with liplocks and bedroom scenes.
But that's what is happening now. A recent episode of Ekta Kapoor's "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain" saw its protagonists, essayed by seasoned actors Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar, getting more up, close and personal than most family audiences could digest.
It was the consummation scene - where the 40-plus rich hero took his marriage of convenience to a different level.
