One Chicago fans will have to wait a bit longer to find out what’s next for the crew at Firehouse 51. Chicago Fire Season 12 was set to premiere in the fall of 2023, but the show’s return is delayed because of the twin SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes.
‘Chicago Fire,’ ‘Chicago P.D.,’ and ‘Chicago Med’ premiere dates delayed Jake Lockett as Carver, Miranda Rae Mayo as Stella Kidd in ‘Chicago Fire’ | Adrian S Burrows Sr/NBC
On July 19, NBC revealed its fall 2023 broadcast schedule. Unfortunately, premiere dates for Chicago Fire Season 12, Chicago P.D. Season 11, and Chicago Med 9 were all noticeably absent from the revised lineup, with the network promising news about the return of those shows at a later date.
Instead of the typical three-hour block of One Chicago shows on Wednesday night, NBC will air a rerun of either Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., or Chicago Med in the 8-9 p.

NBC is keeping broadcast’s scripted hopes alive.
The network will have a slew of original scripted dramas on the air in the fall as part of a slightly revised schedule thanks to some forward planning.
The second half of season five of Magnum P.I, which was originally intended for midseason, will debut in the fall on Wednesday nights, and will be joined by Quantum Leap, new series Found and The Irrational as well as Canadian medical drama Transplant.
It comes as NBC’s rivals largely moved into the unscripted arena for their fall schedules with ABC relying on reality fare, CBS ramping up its competition series and adding some sister shows such as Yellowstone, and Fox sticking with non-scripted and animation.
Deadline understands that Magnum P.I, which is ending with season five, has ten full shot episodes, it has a number of episodes of Quantum Leap, which was renewed in December,...

Thousands of actors have been walking the picket lines across LA and New York today and it’s clear that the SAG-AFTRA strike against the studios is going to continue to wreak havoc on scripted television.
But many of these faces are also now in charge of hosting, exec producing and competing in unscripted series for the broadcast networks, leading to the question of whether shows such as The Voice, Dancing with the Stars and The Masked Singer will be impacted by the strike.
It led network execs, producers and agents to scramble yesterday, making frantic phone calls to talent and figuring out the landscape as it pertains to the walkout.
The short answer, it seems, is that the majority of these shows, which make up the bulk of the fall schedules, will still be able to go ahead with production, thanks to a different contract set up.

The saga of replacing the late Alex Trebek as the host of Jeopardy has featured many twists and turns, and now it’s moved into head-to-head competition. Jeopardy's permanent co-hosts Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik received individual nominations for Outstanding Host for a Game Show, meaning they will compete with each other alongside Wheel of Fortune's Pat Sajak, Family Feud's Steve Harvey, and Password's Keke Palmer.
Usually, multiple hosts from the same show are nominated together for Emmy purposes. This year, all five Queer Eye hosts are nominated as one single entity in the Host for a Reality Competition category, as are Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph for Baking It. But Jennings and Bialik, who have been alternating as Jeopardy hosts since they took over officially after the Mike Richards fiasco in 2021, are nominated separately.

In news that will undoubtedly only increase the Ken Jennings versus Mayim Bialik debate, both Jeopardy! hosts have been nominated in the same category for the upcoming 75th annual Emmy Awards. Both Jennings and Bialik received nominations for Outstanding Game Show Host, a new category for the Primetime Emmys. The category was previously part of the Daytime Emmy Awards. The Jeopardy! hosts face stiff competition, including Family Feud‘s Steve Harvey, Password‘s Keke Palmer, and Wheel of Fortune‘s Pat Sajak. Harvey is the only one of the nominees to have won the award before as part of the Daytime Emmys, having won in 2014, 2017, and 2022. Responding to the nominations on Twitter, Bialik tweeted, “Congratulations @KenJennings on your first Emmy nomination !! I’m so happy for you! I’m thinking we go in matching tuxedos? Let’s discuss.” Congratulations @KenJennings on your first Emmy nomination !! I’m so happy for you!

“Lisa, how did we not notice this?” Karamo Brown, co-host of Netflix’s Queer Eye and apparent watcher of Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules, has a lot of questions for Lisa Vanderpump. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s namesake reality series has been a cultural fixture since March, when one of its original stars (Tom Sandoval) was discovered to have been cheating on his longtime partner (Ariana Madix) with her close friend (Raquel Leviss) for over half a year. The resulting implosion, dubbed “Scandoval,” catapulted the 10-season-old reality series about the social-climbing servers at Vanderpump’s West Hollywood restaurants from minor tabloid fodder to White House Correspondents’ Dinner punchline. Naturally, it was also a hot topic during THR’s Reality Roundtable when Vanderpump joined Brown, Ellie Kemper (co-host of The Great American Baking Show) and Keke Palmer (host of Password) over Zoom in early June. In fact, Brown,...
