Dr. Zachary Smith: What exactly do you take me for, Madam, some fumble-fingered recruit?

Featured review
The monster on this episode reminds me of a werewolf that behaves more like a horned lizard in loose sand, very disturbing. I always wondered what happened to the small dog. He helps out near the end and that's all we see of him. Was Penny Robinson aloud to keep this dog or was it left to starve in a Southern California desert somewhere? He was actually quite cute I thought, very mischievous and he could dig real well. I think he might have had some Corgi in his bloodline.
I know that Dr. Smith had already established himself as a total idiot prior to this episode but somehow I get real angry at him during this show. I guess my frustrations watching him disassemble the the last of the laser weapons leaving the women basically defenseless pushed me over the top. I never understood how forgiving the Robinsons were in the foreground of his dangerously self-serving cowardice, totally ridiculous eccentricities and Pansy behaviors (puke). I think I would have strangled him with a lamp cord for sure. How perfectly and consistently irritating he has become!
