Due to Amitabhs ill health he was unable to dub for many scene's in the film. This made the producers hire Sudesh Bhosle ( Amitabhs duplicate voice) to dub his voice in the film for many scene's.

Akshay Kumar was a real life cook before he entered into movies. Coincidentally his last name in the film is Bhatia, which happens to be his last name Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia.
When Virendra goes back to his old home and is having flashbacks he remembers a old picture that was on the wall. This is a younger Amitabh Bachchan but the baby he is kissing is Abishek Bachchan when he was born.
After the film flopped Keshu Ramsay was in a financial mess. Ramsay family alleged that Akshay did not help Keshu when he needed help. They had signed Rajkumar Santoshi for another film, but Akshay was delaying the film not giving dates. The Ramsay's mentioned it was Keshu who first took Akshay to Toronto,Canada in the mid 90's. Akshay would stay at his bungalow there.
