The second time Mariana Ximenes portrays a character publicly humiliated by having something thrown upon her, after Sandy & Junior Especial (1998). Fernanda Paes Leme's character pranks her in that Christmas special, while her brother Ângelo Paes Leme performs the prank in this series. Both sequences, of course, make reference to Carrie (1976).
