The Sega Genesis prototype version of Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and the Flame was originally planned to be released in 1996 by Psygnosis which was almost complete, but it got cancelled for unknown reasons. The prototype version contains a game breaking glitch on level 9 in the horse level which the player has to get the Prince to leap on the horse, but due to the horse statue leap glitch, the Prince will likely miss and the level will be incomplete. The only to get bypass the level 9 glitch is to enter the password to level 10. However, there's an updated hacked version which fixed the horse leap glitch without needing to enter the password.
