Amiable, dark and wavy-haired and with a slim mustache, actor/dancer Charles Collins would be distantly remembered for his one big film role, the title charmer in the lowbudget programmer Dancing Pirate (1936). Born on January 7, 1904, on a farm in Frederick, Oklahoma, he was a self-taught teenage saxophone player before learning to dance. A business school graduate following high school, he later worked as an accountant but never lost track of his interest in dancing and sidelined as a performer in a local Oklahoma City musical "The Merry Widow".
He continued to this artistic interest with work in vaudeville and made his Broadway debut as a dancer in "Artists and Models" at age 23. Meeting fellow dancer Nitza Vermille in the show, they formed a dancing act on the vaudeville circuit and he later soloed in London revues for a time.
Charles met dancer/actress Dorothy Stone, daughter of actor Fred Stone, when they were all performing in the Broadway musical "Ripples" (1930) and they married a year later. Later they put together a nightclub dance act. They also appeared in the Broadway musical "Smiling Faces" (192 and "As Thousands Cheer" (1934). They also appeared in Charles' first film short Shave It with Music (1932) and in the short Paree, Paree (1934).
He failed to capitalize on his two chances at film stardom. The lead in Poverty Row musical Dancing Pirate (1936) was too lowbudget to garner much interest in the tall, lean actor. A second feature lead in Swing Hostess (1944) opposite Martha Tilton proved the same. In later years he and his wife returned to Broadway ("Sea Legs" (1937), "Hooray for What!" (1938), toured in a slew of stage shows, appeared in a couple of musical shorts, and entertained the troops overseas. Their final Broadway endeavors were "You Can't Take It With You" (1945), which starred Dorothy's father Fred Stone and the revival of her father's stage vehicle "The Red Mill" (1947).
When offers faded, Charles later switched to focus more as a talent agent. Following Dorothy's death in 1974, he met and lived with his longtime companion Catherine Garvin. His last work was a 1984 episode of "The Master" on TV. He died of pneumonia at age 95 in Santa Barbara, CA.- Additional Crew

Francis Scott Key was born to Ann Phoebe Penn Dogworthy and Captain James Ross Key at the family plantation Terra Rubra on August 1, 1779 in Frederick, Maryland. His father was a lawyer, judge, and officer in the Continental Army and his great grandparents Philip Key and Susanna Barton Gardiner where both born in England and immigrated to America in 1726. Francis graduated from St. John's College in Annapolis in 1796. During the War of 1812 Key was on board the British ship HMS Tomnant; he witnessed the bombarding of Fort McHenry during the Battle of Baltimore on the night of September 13-14, 1814. When the smoke cleared Francis saw an American flag still waving and was inspired to write the poem "The Defense of Fort McHenry." This poem was first published in the Patriot on September 20, 1814. It was subsequently set to the melody of composer John Stafford Smith's composition "To Anacreon in Heaven" and has gone on to be internationally known as "The Star-Spangled Banner." "The Star-Spangled Banner" was adopted as the American anthem by President Woodrow Wilson in 1916 and further confirmed as such by a Congressional resolution signed by President Herbert Hoover in 1931. Moreover, the stanza "In God is Our Trust" was adopted as the national motto by law in 1956. From 1817 to 1843 Key served as the Vice President of the American Bible Society. In 1832 he served as the attorney for Congressman Sam Houston during his trial in the U.S. House of Representatives for assaulting another Congressman. Francis published a prose work entitled "The Power of Literature and Its Connection to Religion" in 1834. In 1835 Francis prosecuted Richard Lawrence for his unsuccessful attempt at assassinating President Andrew Jackson. He was married to Mary "Polly" Tayloe Lloyd and was the father of nine children. They later relocated to Lawton, Oklahoma where she lived and attended school before her mother moved them all to Jacksonville, FL in 1998. Though her parents never married, at a very young age they made sure that Consuelo and her siblings were exposed to the music industry, as her mother and father was a part of the local entertainment in Lawton, Oklahoma. Her mother was the local hair stylist and lead singer of a female group "Fly Girls" and her father was the local "DJ and Radio Personality of K98 Gospel." Consuelo and her siblings moved to Jacksonville, FL and the rest was music history for her. Even though she was young, there was always something in her that led her to entertainment from writing poetry and songs, forming dance teams in the community, school singing groups and church singing groups since the age of 12. Eventually she married and sung backup for a local gospel singer who currently sings backup for Shirley Caesar. That's when the passion for music truly began. In 2006 Consuelo worked with some local producers and formed a production company "Divine Music." During this endeavor she met Troy McNair, former road and marketing/brand manager for Russell Simmons "Rush" who worked with artists such as DJ Maseo, Will Smith, Onyx and De La Soul just to name a few. Troy became a mentor in the Music Industry and eventually a business partner to Consuelo and taught her about the Music Industry and Brand Marketing.
