John Walker Gray

John, as a child, was brought up in the East end of Glasgow. He went to Dalmarnock Primary School and John Street Secondary. He left School with 5 O grades and went to work with a local company on a youth program. He joined the Military in 1981: Experience: 5 years, TAVR, 1/52 lowland Mortar platoon, In August 1987 he joined the Police Service: 21 years, Firearms ARV, Public Order Team, Mountain Rescue team, he was also part of the divisional training dept. dealing at length with probationary constables. As a community police officer, he spoke with members of the public, in meetings and at schools, on a daily basis. He has a BA (Hons) in European Humanities(with Lit), from the Open University. He is a photographer, novelist and a trained as a life coach He has been acting since 2010 and attend workshops on a regular basis with Acting Coach Scotland under the tutelage of Mark Westbrook and Nick Field and Unsub Actors with Gerry Lynch and Martin McCardie.
