Welcome to this review of Impact Wrestling: Bound For Glory 2019, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have some big matches tonight, so this might just be good. Okay, I already know, but I have to pretend. Freddy Krueger could’ve used some sun-screen. Okay, we’ve got the biggest night of Impact Wrestling’s year and it’s ready for…what word am I looking for? Oh well…glory! Bound For Glory! Yes! I rule/suck. Damn it! Why can’t I lie? At least Bfg is great. Ah! Spoiler Alert!
Match #1: Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match: Winner – Eddie Edwards
My Opinion: 2.6 out of 5 – Eddie won the match. This went long, but didn’t have much to offer. Eddie won! Holy $#!@!
Match #2: Taya Valkyrie defeated Tenille Dashwood – Knockouts Title Match
My Opinion: 3 out of 5 – This was not as good as I was hoping for,...

Welcome to this week’s Impact Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have the continued build toward Bound For Glory, with more qualifiers for the X-Division Title Ladder Match. Let’s see if Callis and D’Amore have any surprises planned for Bfg, or are they just spinning their wheels in the name of staying employed.
Match #1: Ace Austin def. Eddie Edwards – X-Division Championship Ladder Match Qualifier The following is courtesy of impactwrestling.com:
While Ace is making his way to the ring, a female fan leans over the railing and gives him a smooch. They brawl on the outside in the early going, allowing Ace to grab a cup full of ice and throw it in the face of Eddie. Reno Scum comes down to ringside and pulls the referee out of the ring when Eddie has the match won. Eddie takes...

Welcome to this week’s Impact Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and…wrestling is cool. No weddings this week, which is good. Wrestling. Just have wrestling matches. No weddings! Okay. Wrestling. Now.
Match #1: Tenille Dashwood def. Madison Rayne & Kiera Hogan The following is courtesy of impactwrestling.com:
Kiera and Madison work together to do damage to Tenille but in the end, only one can win this 3-way match. Tenille attempts to fight back on multiple occasions but continues to fall victim to the numbers game. Kiera attempts a dive to the outside but Tenille pulls Madison in front of her. Tenille powerbombs Madison on top of Kiera for a near fall. Tenille sends Kiera to the outside, then connects with the Spotlight kick on Madison to win.
My Opinion: 2.4 out of 5 – Tenille won, which is what matters. There was nothing bad here, but not as much was great as…...

Another milestone for Brian Banks -- the football star who made it to the NFL after proving he was wrongly convicted of rape ... 'cause TMZ Sports has learned he's getting married ... Tomorrow!!! Brian's story is incredible ... he was a high school football superstar who spent 5 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit. Then, after he proved his accuser made the whole thing up, he battled his way in to the Atlanta Falcons training...

Before I write another word about Johny Hendricks, I have a confession to make.
I am biased.
I am an Oklahoma State alumnus, born and raised in beautiful Stillwater, Oklahoma. At the dinner table each night as a young Lucky, we thanked God for Henry Iba, Eddie Sutton, and the entire Smith wrestling dynasty (LeRoy, John, Pat, & Mark) with their 7 national championships and 2 Olympic gold medals. I take great pride in the 34 national champions and 134 individual Ncaa championships of my school and alma mater. And our Johny is part of that bedrock.
When I see a Cowboy wrestler with a freaking spitter on stage at a Ufc presss conference, rocking an epic beard, and his easy going folksy accent, I know that’s my guy. That’s a Good Ole Boy. Now with all of that being said, I can objectively and emphatically state:
Johny Hendricks Is Getting Screwed

The Ufc's Ultimate Fighter (Tuf) reality TV series returned to our screens last Friday night, but arrived with a twist -- as well as the fastest knockout in its history, at just eight seconds. While the show carried the same format and dangled the same prize at the end of it all, the action was, for the first time, live and pretty much uninterrupted and the season will, in time, be far more interactive than ever before, offering fight fans the opportunity to participate and dictate the fates of those inside the house.
A runaway success since its inception in 2005, this latest tweaking should ensure it remains as such, following the odd hit-and-miss season of late. With change comes a period for reflection, however, and now seems as good a time as any to remember and highlight some of the show's very best success stories, if only to provide inspiration...

Birmingham dentists are among the crowds eagerly anticipating Bamma 7 at the National Indoor Arena, where British middleweight Jim Wallhead will battle Frank Trigg. If you can't be there, Syfy will bring you every filling-rattling blow. Ask a crowd who they think would win in a fight between someone nicknamed 'Judo' and someone else called 'Twinkle Toes' and most would think the one who sounded like they belonged on Strictly Come Dancing would be in for a shoeing.

Anchor Bay Entertainment reports that it will expand their line of "Ufc" titles in the Canadian home entertainment market to include French language tracks, starting with "Ufc 124: St-Pierre vs. Koscheck", now available on DVD.
