Speaks fluent Mexican Spanish. Her mother was from Mexico City, consequently Fryda spent every summer as a child in Mexico and lived in Mexico City for 5th and 6th grade of primary school.

Started voice acting at age 30. Her first career was as a video game developer for twelve years, entering the industry at age 18 as a Game Master (customer service) for EverQuest, and spent the last nine years as a Sound Designer.

Attended Las Vegas Academy of the Arts high school during the same era as alumni Matthew Gray Gubler, Rutina Wesley, Baron Vaughn, and Shaffer Smith (Ne- Yo). Fryda and Baron have been close friends since their freshman year of high school.

Second cousin of Mexican director Alejandro Andrade (Pease).
