Has one child (b. late 2014) with her husband Matthew Spitzer.

Studied acting at New York's Circle in the Square Theatre School and the Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles.

Has starred in two shows set in Chicago: The Mob Doctor (2012) and My Boys (2006). She has also guest-starred in The Good Wife (2009), which is also set there. Each one of those shows was filmed in different cities: "My Boys" was mostly filmed in L.A., "The Good Wife" in NYC and "The Mob Doctor" in Chicago.
