One of the most celebrated hip hop producers of the last 10 years, making beats for artists such as Jay-Z, Ludacris, Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, Rihanna and Brandy Norwood.

Timbaland was known along with Missy Elliott and Magoo, with the latter formed the duo "Timbaland & Magoo". He started in the music world as a hip hop DJ, "DJ Timmy Tim".

Tim was a close friend and collaborator of Aaliyah, indeed after the death of Aaliyah, he spent some time away from the world of music.

Also, he is a close friend of Missy Elliott and Pharrell Williams.

Timbaland has two sons, Demetrius and Frankie, the result of a previous relationship.

Tim became engaged to publicist Monique Idlett in 2006 and, on November 27 2007, his first daughter, named Reign, was born.

The wedding with Monique Idlett was June 10, 2008 in private, but was held on June 22 in Aruba Sunday. Guests included Missy Elliott, Omarion, rapper Magoo, Keri Hilson, Ginuwine. In all, approximately 300 people were invited.

At age 15, he worked at a Red Lobster, but was shot so severely he remained paralyzed for nearly a year. Subsequently, Timbaland began to learn how to work as a DJ with his left hands.
