- His short film Voodoo (1999), which was made when he was a junior at USC film school, won over thirty film festivals world-wide and is now screened at orientation for incoming USC film students along with the short films Electronic Labyrinth THX 1138 4EB (1967) by George Lucas and The Lift (1972) by Robert Zemeckis.
- Completed over 50 homemade movies by age 16.
- Graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts in the Film Production Program.
- In high school, he ambitiously wrote, directed and produced a low-budget feature film (a spy-thriller) at only 17 years of age.
- After graduating from USC filmschool, he financed his feature film The Other Side (2006) himself with $15,000, which were the profits made from his short film Voodoo (1999). The movie went on to Premiere at the Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah where it was snapped up for a theatrical release. Bishop is currently developing the movie as a TV series at Fox Studios.
