Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

Kaya’s first review of the year

liked it
there’s actually some great foreshadowing in here, as well as some snappy dialogue and cinematic fight scenes.

otherwise, this book undoubtedly reads like a debut. it doesn’t spend enough time in the well-written fight scenes, and celeana hasn’t grown enough as a character yet to not feel like a blatant self-insert.

anyways, i didn’t hate chaol as much this time around?

longer rtc maybe? maybe not?
