What a melancholy story was told and reminisced of by a retarded protagonist, who has 68 IQ , so that his life has been suffering and pursuing for intelligent in his life. However, it's not doing any good to him, as he obtained the high IQ, he was still struggling and being excruciated by the achievement. However, it's not doing any good to him, as he obtained the high IQ, he was still struggling and being excruciated by the achievement. From the beginning of the story, readers are able to see the narrator inarticulately recounting his story; massive misspellings, and simple sentences are used that has shown Charlie Gordon difficulty to read and write properly in English. Even though, unvaryingly he had been working for his uncle for several years. unexpectedly, one day he was eager to impress his teacher, Ms. Kinnian, therefore he had participated in an incipient progress, no matter the progress was developing, on experimental stage but Charlie desperately wanted to be clever, and thus he took the risk, then he became clever but lost his friends and friendships with his previous coworkers, he was fired by his bakery employer. Many times, he was agitated and irked by what he had discovered about humanity, his sorrowful past and his unstable future. Ultimately, it was ushering him toward to self-destruction.

It is a heartbroken and suffocated story, even after Charlie was succeeded to become smart, he was suffering unsettling changes, erratic emotional bursts etc. Everytime when he watch Algernon, it invariably reminded him of the predicament that in this labyrinthine maze of searching serenity space to mollify his aghast experience to his ultimate failures of maintaining smart. He is never to be treated as a human being, after being smart, he realized that but it makes him suffer more; because, having higher IQ , he still is omitted from people around him. he will not find his group. Without friends and people who understand him, he will not be accepted by the society even when he is smarter than before; he would be tormented more than he was the Charlie who did not understand many things.

I totally understand his languishing pain, no Panaceas are capable of curing his congenital intelligent dysfunction. But I think, when he was dull, he was a happier man than anyone else in the world. But inner part of him is longing for cleverness, no matter what costs for him to pay.
I had been contemplating a lot about this Sci-Fi novel, beyond a shadow of a doubts, it is a truly masterpieces by an excellent Sci-Fi author. All in my life, I am looking for a place in English country, but now I change my mind, I just want to know and contact with English Fantasy writers, and that it. Living in English country where I don't have a lot novel experiences, basically, a norm life as I was back living in my hometown, I have seen many barriers between different groups of people. Even I am still willingly striking on my goal that does not mean I will success. This world should be remained for those people who are living in mundane. And I can do one thing which is to abandon those irrelevant things in my life, I have my life need to live on, not to give all to a place where does not care a thing of you.
I am like Charlie who is afraid of losing reading ability, (especially in English. Multitudes of excellent fantasy books are written in English.) because I always need to enter the fantasy worlds, hence I need to read on as ever. one day I will leave this troblesome world without any regrets if I read as many books as possible and have my own world to see.
