Paladin of Souls by Lois McMaster Bujold

Alisa’s first review of the year

Really enjoyed this. A mature protagonist who takes no shit, interesting world building, some sexy man candy and a host of competent characters made for a very enjoyable read.

Alisa’s last review of the year

God, so much is stupid but it’s such a fun read. She’s constantly complaining about her stupid weak body and then doing bodily shit anyway. I was happy it didn’t end on the defense of the battle - great call switching POVs, but now I wanna know why it was the first time that happened.
