Such a delightful memoir 😭
+ extremely topical as I (personally) foray into this world of marathon training. I’m also so impressed by Haruki Murakami! I saw that he just ran the Honolulu Marathon in December, and he’s in his 70’s!

enjoyed it! i personally find the anecdotal way of writing is hard to follow sometimes but very much enjoyed the debunking of a lot of the gizmos, gadgets and rituals that have come to dominate the running recovery space. esp topical was the chapter around fueling, supplements and icing.
