I forgot to bring along my Poppy War book to my cousin's house, but look what gem(s) I found in her stack of books!
I remember my father recounting this tale when we were little kids, and I still recall my dad showing us a very old movie of this story. It was full of dramatic dialogues and relentless songs. LOL

I don't think I've ever rated a book below 3 stars for a nonfiction book, but this one, unfortunately was it!!
