“He isn't wearing a shirt.... He shouldn't just walk around like that; it's obscene to have to look at someone so perfect. He should do the world a favor and eat a donut or two.”
Amy A. Bartol, Inescapable

“I slump against the cushion. “How am I going to protect him, if I’ve completely alienated him? He thinks I’m creepy…” I say sadly.
“You are not creepy,” Reed says soothingly, taking my hand.
“You’re not a good judge of creepy, Reed, since you’re creepier than I am,” I say warily, looking over at Zephyr when I hear him laughing at my comment. “I wouldn’t laugh too hard, pal, because you’re the creepiest one of us all.”
Amy A. Bartol, Inescapable

“...I have never seen him smile like that—it’s intoxicating, especially because I never thought he would smile like that at me.”
Amy A. Bartol, Inescapable

message 55: by Shelley

Shelley I just wanted to tell you I love all of your books. You write the most amazing characters. I am currently reading "Darken the Stars", I love Kricket, Kyon, and Trey so much. I know this is the last book in the series which makes me so sad. I know all good things must come to an end but I would love some more of these characters. Since you are finishing up both of your series are you planning on any new ones. I need something to look forward to. Thanks so much, and thank you for making reading so much fun.

message 54: by Emily

Emily Andrewsen Amy, I'm sure you hear this all the time, but you may add my congratulations to your overflowing file. I love your books! I was the first of my sisters to read your Premonition series and quickly got my sister hooked into it (maybe even more than me?!?) When I saw your UDS, I bought it and read it in a day (& I don't have time to do that!!)! I Loved it! You have a writing gift that includes all my favorite things about books - characters and dialogue! Your female heroines are easy to love, and Everyone is charmed by them, which I really like. She (whether it's Evie or Kricket) develops relationships that are special beyond just the love interest. Then you bring in the love interest, and hearts stop! :) I love that you can grip your readers and bait them into the "sensual" scenes without ever getting too graphic. I think your books are stronger than those that go into gross detail in that area. Just plain fun books! I don't know how you do it, but I will be watching, and anxiously awaiting, any further publications from you!! (You do realize you're killing us with waiting, right?! :) But I'm glad you are. I'd rather wait and have it be done well instead of rushed, and have a great story ruined. There's nothing worse than a bad ending of a great series!)

message 53: by Nikki

Nikki Thank you for accepting. Your premonition books are some of the best books I've read :D

message 50: by Jaclyn

Jaclyn Thanks for adding me. I also wanted to say that it is refreshing to have an author who will admit to a later release date and not put one out until you are sure it will be ready. I absolutely LOVE your premonition series. Thank you for giving me something to read that's that amazing and also a good author to her fans about it as well! Can't wait to get my hands on the next!

Amy Hi Amy! I read your blog post about the new work you have completed and am looking forward to reading it. I can confidently day I'd read anything you published.

I discovered your Premonition series by accident (while trawling amazon one day) and I haven't looked back since. I'm a total magpie when it comes to books and I fell in love with the cover of Inescapable before I even read the blurb, which when I read it just cemented the fact I had to buy the book. I read it the day it arrived and then immediately bought the other books in the series, (only then having to wait impatiently for them to arrive!) The two weeks it took for them to post from the States to Australia were filled with anticipation and annoyance as I waited for my Reed, Evie and Russell fix. :)

In the last year I've reread the series twice and recommended it to several friends, all of whom have become as obsessed with the books as I am. You truly have a gift with words and I am eagerly waiting for Iniquity.

All the best,
Amy

message 38: by Roberta

Roberta Team Reed..............I just love, love this series... IT has everything you could want in a story. The twist of the love story is so beautiful with Reed. He has loved Evie from the day he met her.

"In all my years that I have lived, the time that I have spent with you has been the most exquisite". -Reed

My heart breaks for them over and over. When she was begging her father for help to save Reed I was crying like a baby. My heart was breaking in two with her. It felt so real at the time. That's when you know your invested in the charters of a book.

When Reed is holding her at the end and praying for god not to take her from him if so take him too. "I'm lost here without you" "may this soul in thins hands be with me....always".

Reed-"I whisper, I'm lost with out you, I'm only found in your eyes" "the most fortunate day of my life," was when I stumbled across you, Evie. I need you to stay with me...please....I will love you every day until my last. I promise you that I will.

My heart sings when he calls her love. I could go on and on about Reed.

I am not a fan of the evil one brennus, has everyone forgotten what he has put her through in all the other books.. Hello he is the evil dead. How could you root for him. Just think he is that guy that is an obsessed stalker he goes everywhere you go. If he can't have you then he wants you dead so that no one can have you. The only difference with him is he will kill her soul which is worse. I want him dead, no ifs and buts about it. (ok maybe I'm a little hash about him, Not.. I do love to hate him).

Now to Xavier I felt for him and I believed what he told Evie and my heart broke for him a little but Amy didn't get to far into there past for me to get to torn up about it.

Russell.... what's there not to love about him. He is so sweet, pure at heart and evie's soul mate. I loved him from the start. The perfect charter in a book like this. I love the twist that he has an aspire now which makes it easier for me not to feel bad for him not being with his soul mate in this life time.

What I like to see happen next is Brennus dead dead and reed or Russell can kill him I don't care or both of them.. The whole foursome love triangle is too much and evie has started to remember Xavier and ran away from him so we or she didn't get the answers. She has known him and loved him from her beginning so that is going to be the most terrifying thing for her to go through when she really remembers him. There is also her father and why she was created to be a half bread. Why she excepted her mission. The changing of Russell that changed everything when she saved his life in the convince store that wasn't suppose to happen. How everything has changed because her father was called back to heaven. What was suppose to happen if he hadn't left her. Oh, and did she choose tau to be her birth father on earth? Would she still have met Reed, would they still been together if tau and Xavier went to Crestwood with her. It was reeds money that paid for her to go to that school so tau or someone knew reed and zee before. Would Evie and Reed have the butterflies if Xavier was still around during that time??? Ugh!!!!.....also is it me or does it seem like Russell is way stronger than Evie????......OMG!!!!!! so many what ifs and questions that I have.

I could go on forever. Best books ever!!!

Thanks Amy for writing such an amazing journey for us to read. I heart you.

Wine Country Thanks for adding me as a friend Amy. Your books are one hell of an emotional roller coaster and I would not have wanted anything less. Your writing is so powerful and your characters so realistic that I can actually visual everything happening in your books. I have the third book on my Kindle and I'm preparing myself for the rough and emotional journey I'm sure Evie and I will be on together. I'm glad you liked my review of Intuition, it was such an amazing read for me and I agree, I think we would make great friends. I look forward to further conversations. Next monday I will be starting Indebted and I can't wait to share my thoughts with you. I know I will love it!
