Does this include authors we read for Ticket to Ride?

Yes, any author you read during Dec 1 - Feb 29, even if you didn't use them for the challenge at all.

Yes, as long as the first author listed on GR is the same for both.

If I didn't participate last season, how should I approach this task? To be 100% honest, I did NO reading for enjoyment in the last six months or so - I've been up to my eyeballs in textbooks. My thought was to continue a series that I've been reading but that would be up to you guys.

Yes, normally we would say any book you read during those months, but that seems tough if you don't have any more textbooks by the same authors that you want or need to read! The series idea sounds good.
