Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

I have a new book out (Murder at the Marquee, ASIN B0CBN28W3V) but I'm unable to add it to GR. When I try, I get a message to say the book has already been added and has a deleted status.

One book (The Daughters Defiance, ASIN B0BK1L1J4W) still has its placeholder cover and not the final.

I also don't think all of my books are linked as part of the series they should be in.

Part of the problem may be the discrepancy between the way my name is displayed. It should be VL McBeath (no punctuation) but on GR it seems to be V.L. McBeath.

Can someone help to sort this out, please.

It would be helpful if you could link the books/series in question so we 't have to search for those that needs correcting...

That being said, I have restored the public status of Murder at the Marquee and moved the book to your profile - You can add the cover if you wish.

I have deleted the placeholder cover from The Daughters Defiance so you can add the correct cover as well.

I have also added the missing books to your series (Book 6 of The Ambition & Destiny Series seems to be missing...). Also, is Murder at the Marquee an eight part of the Eliza Thomson Investigates series?

As of the issue concerning your name - Goodreads has its own rules when it comes to author names/punctuation see the Librarian Manual: https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/... specifically: "If an author uses initials in their name, the initials should contain NO spacing between them and be marked with a period."

I think I have corrected all the things that needed to be corrected but please let me know if there is any other issue.

PS: Next time please post this kind of request to the correct folder "Book & Author Page Issues": https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group... This one is for adding NEW books/editions, not for fixing/updating already existing records. Thank you for understanding.
