When you add books to your bookshelf, you have an option to write a review, as well as hide your review, if you are sharing spoilers. A lot of people don’t like to be spoiled. You might can share the name of the books you have written a review for on Goodreads and people that have read or plan on reading that book can go read your review.
A lot of people don’t read the same books. I like reading interracial books, but really can’t find a lot that fits what I like reading. I like dangerous bad boy stories. I don’t read erotic stories. I don’t care for detailed sex. I can skip sex in regular books. I am looking for the story. I want to see how much the couple are in love with one another. I love stories with plenty of tension and no, I am not talking about sexual tension. I can’t stand when a hero and heroine are put together, just because. Some heroes and heroines don’t match and their story seems unbelievable.
I write interracial stories. I’m not an author, just a writer. It’s nothing for me to write a story just for me to read. This year will make 13 years that I’m still writing a dangerous bad boy, bwwm interracial story on another group that I’m on. I’m still having fun writing this story. It’s an old story, but with updates. I don’t mind anyone reading it, if they want to read it, but none of the stories are shared to be critiqued for grammar. A person will not be allowed to leave a comment on any of the stories about the writer’s grammar, etc. The stories are there for fun. As a reader, I don’t read someone’s story to find grammar errors, because trust me, I can pick up a best seller and find grammar errors in it.
I hate when a reader complains about grammar in a story, when they aren’t a grammar expert.

Hi Peter:
What type of genres are you thinking about reviewing?
As for me, I'm okay with bad grammar if it's germane to the story. I appreciate when readers point out editing issues which can make a good story flow very badly. I'm especially not a fan of guessing what the author is trying to convey in their story.
I read many, many different genres, but most of all I'm open to reading any genre, and any good story, by any author.
Happy Reading! 😄

Hi Peter, my name is Lotchie, and I write interracial/romantic suspense. I have a three-book series available on most distribution platforms. I’m currently participating in a ‘How to be a Full-Time Author’ Challenge/workshop and one of the goals is to increase the number of reviews for a book in 30 days. Book 1 of the series (Love Hard Love Deep/EBOOK) is offered at .99 cents and my goal is to increase its 38 reviews to 75 by the end of April. If you’re interested in military/law enforcement-based plotlines with action and suspense I’d appreciate your take (as a man) on the story, as well as help in meeting my goal. But fair warning—there are sex scenes. Below is a blurb to give an idea of the content.
A case of mistaken identity. A 20-year mystery solved. A painful truth.
Rick Thorne, a former marine Special Operations Officer, owner and CEO of Thorne Enterprises is a no-nonsense, by-the-book, rules-matter kind of guy. Disciplined, courageous and loyal, with one flaw—an unforgiving heart. Taking him for granted might be a forgivable offence. But breaking his heart and leaving him stranded, there’s no such thing as “forgive”. Jilted by the woman he loved, Rick is forced to face his past by her unexpected return and a plea for help that threatens to ignite more than just painful memories. Rushing to her rescue is the last thing he had in mind. But saying no doesn’t seem to be an option. Pushing aside hurt and anger, Rick girds his emotions and shields his heart. Because a hardened heart is hard to break—twice.
Nylah James is a stubborn woman and once her mind is made up there’s no turning back. Three years ago she’d made the biggest mistake of her life; walking away from the man she loved. Too much pride and too little sense kept her from going back. But now, desperate need takes precedence over stupid pride. A past she’d thought dead and forgotten has returned to haunt her, and plagued by nightmares and unanswered questions she turns to the only person who she knows can help. Leaving him was the hardest thing she’d ever done. The only thing harder was coming back.

Hi, Sorry for the late reply.
I will be glad to read it and give you my feedback.
Let me know how to proceed / get to the book . I am a guy, I dont mind sex scenes if they are not every after ten pages / the focus is also on the lady.

Thank you!
I agree about the 'every ten pages' thing. It can be annoying and can diminish the plot. There are approximately 2 and a half scenes, however fairly intense.
The book is available at Amazon via the below link for .99 cents. Also on various other platforms for the same price. I hope you enjoy the read.

Hi, Lotchie.
I am sorry I did not manage to do the review in april, I forgot for a while and thenI found myself having to deal with work stuff.
I can still write the review in the next week or two and at least add it Amazon, so the book gets a bit more traction.
Once again I am sorry for the late replies.

I think a guys angle might be interesting to some.
Also, anyone wanting me to read their work, I am open to it - I have an MA in English and studied translation from English to my mother tongue , specializing also in literary criticism.
Plus, one can never have enough friends to talk books.
