Play Book Tag discussion

Wyoming game warden Joe Pickett is about to have the shock of his life. His teenaged daughter Sheridan has been receiving text messages from a young girl who says she is April, the Pickett's foster child believed killed in an explosion six years ago. Can it really be April? The texts are short but full of details only April would know. April warns Sheridan not to call her as she must keep the phone hidden from the men she is with. The two men, a dying father and his environmentally fanatic son, are on a mission to 'help' people reduce their carbon footprint to below zero. Murder is not out of the question and they leave a trail of bodies as they rampage across Wyoming. Needing to rescue the girl he hopes is April, Joe, aided by the FBI and his longtime friend Nate, follow every lead to stop April from becoming a victim once again, this time permanently.

Although this book leads to many, many questions about April's initial disappearance, hopefully they will be answered in the next one. I am such a fan of Pickett and his family and am so glad that I have quite a few in the series yet to go.
