Witches and other creatures from the dark blend here, shopping and talking to friends.

Dante walked into the town square, carrying Ace. "Fish market." He said to Cas. "Aenia SEVERELY values fish, being next to water and all."
Ace waved at everyone around her, having a blast already. Cas nodded, smiling as wide as she ever had. This was.. fun. And Ace was happy, so that was great.
“Really? I’d expect as much, but somehow it still caught me by surprise.”

Danny nodded. "Yep. That is Souless Beach." He pointed to the sand lining the ocean. "Maybe I'll take you there." Dante said with a wink. "Recreate the waterfall."
“There is a child.” Cas laughed, trying to fill her voice with malice, but failing. Her tan cheeks dusted with pink, and she looked away quickly.

Cas pushed him lightly, giggling almost like she was embarrassed. But nothing could embarrass her now, not really. Ace had climbed out of Dante’s arms and was walking on her own, Bloo at her side.
“You bastard.” Caspian said quietly, smirking.

“Luckily for you, I haven’t even begun to think that.” Cas purrs, kissing Dante’s cheek.
Dante smiled, then froze. "I know that is not..." His eyes sparkled. "Duke Elusium! IS THAT YOU?"
Cas stood by, utterly confused. Ace waved to whoever Dante happened to be speaking to.
The man- Duke, that fucking IDIOT-- rushed over to them. "Danny." He said, with a radiating smile. "Ho. Ly. Shittttttt."
(WJDKADIOQODOAO-)
Cas slapped a hand over her mouth, giggling quietly. Ace latched onto her leg, the terrifying concept of new people finally hitting her.

They hugged. Duke ruffled Danny's hair. "Where the hell have you been? Isla been going mad." Dante motioned to Cas. "Ask her." Duke sized her up.
“Why me? I didn’t bring you to Badeux, priss.” Cas growled, but you could tell she didn’t mean it. She smiled, and held her hand out to Duke.
“I’m Caspian Lamendola, it’s very nice to meet you.”
“I’m Caspian Lamendola, it’s very nice to meet you.”
Duke shook it. "My formal title is Prince Darian of House Hurbert, but I prefer Duke. Easier that way." He tilted his head. "Witch or Maleficaris?" Danny snorted. "Not EVERYONE is Maleficaria, Duke."
“I’m a Celestial witch.” Cas laughed, clasping her hands together now. Ace waved to Duke from beneath her.
“Hi!”
“Hi!”
“I’m Ace! Hello!” The little girl beamed, coming out from under Cas to stand in the sun.
"Hi, little witch. What do you like? Chocolate, hard candies...?" Danny sighed. "You're going to give her a sugar crash."
“Anything! I like any and all sweet things!” Ace opens her arms wide to symbolise her words, beaming up at the new friend.
“Mmmmhm! Thank you, you have paid the Ace Price, give me candy and I don’t drive you crazy.” She grins sweetly, shoving it into her mouth.
Cas chuckled, then turned to Dante, one ebony black eyebrow raised.
“I wonder..”
“I wonder..”
Duke looked at Danny. "YOU ARE A DAD?" He yelled. He squished Dante against his chest. "Should've told us, asshole." Danny winced. "I was trying not to get murdered by HER," He said, pointing at Cas, "batshit crazy mother."
“Clearly there’s something you like about that.” Cas elbowed him, swallowing down her measly temper and keeping an eye on Ace.
“I promise I’m not as bad as he makes me out to be.” Cas hummed, and though she kept her eyes on her daughter, it was clear her speech was aimed at Duke.

Daunte snorted, and Duke raised an eyebrow. "Oh, I like you." He said to Cas. "This one's a keeper." Danny nodded. "Thats why I married her."
“Thank you very much.” Cas smiled at Duke, then turned to Dante.
“I will not say what I want to, but I’m sure you can think of it.” Her smile was tighter, but not unhappy.

“Nothing, nothing.” Cas waved dismissively, seemingly like nothing had happened at all. Ace was busy dancing around to the music that was coming from.. somewhere.
Dante glanced at Ace, and smiled. "Do you think her magic has kicked in yet? She seems avid towards demons."
“Oh, definitely. They seem to love her. And they gravitate towards her. I’ve never seen something like it.” Cas hums, watching her daughter pick up her pet demon and continue dancing.
Ace danced like she was on drugs. But the demon somehow loved ALL of it. "Maybe she's like you? A Celestial?" Danny didn't know much about Celestial witches. Him and Cas were too busy trying to find out what HE was.
“I don’t know. She might be like you.” Cas murmurs, for some reason knowing it was true. Ace had that same buzz, that same fire that Dante had.
Dante smiled. "That's... good. And bad. Depends on how you look at it." He glanced at Cas. "Caspian, the reason why I... panicked, was because I saw something. My father."
“Really? During Soulfall?” Caspian wonders, tilting her head. Of course it was during Soulfall. She just wanted Dante to tell her at his own pace.
Danny nodded. "And, as you know, my father died. Or I thought he did. Or--" He sighs. "I don't know, Cas. Something is going on."
“I could consult the stars. They always know something.” Cas thought it over, resting her hand upon the tarot deck in her bag.
“If you ask.” Cas nodded, her hair falling forwards over her shoulders.
Dante smiled. "Okay. But, let's find a more quieter place." He hefted up Ace. "I have a treehouse in the FOS. We can stay there." He pointed to a gathering of trees.
Ace swung her legs, reaching out to Bloo. Cas rolled her eyes, but smiled fondly, and nodded.
“Lead the way.”
“Lead the way.”
Ace weaved through the crowd easily, Bloo prancing behind her. She was going to get pastries, and nothing could stop her. She was walking with a purpose, like she was doing something much more than getting sweets.
Marcus Aloysius Carnam weaver through the crowds, on his way to get a pastry from his new favorite shop.
Ever.
He may have been in Aenia for a week, but god, he fucking loved it already. The food, the water, the women… everything was perfect. He motioned around a large family of four, his jade green Venandi jacket flaring wide. Most people tended to stay away from him when they saw the jacket in Badeaux, but here, jo one gave a fuck.
It was just another thing in their lives.

Ace swung the doors to the pastry shop open, flashing a smile to the woman behind the counter.
“Hi Isabel! It’s me. Again. And Bloo.” The woman, Isabel, smiled back at her, already preparing the girls favorite pastry.
“I wondered when I’d see you today. How is everyone?” She asked, casting a glance over her shoulder. Bloo waited patiently at Ace’s feet.
