Yes we're super excited about this challenge and the fact that all of you guys wanted a repeat of the Mod's challenge so we figured that this was a nice update to it and it'll be broad enough that we can have it be a year long challenge with varied authors, genres, series, etc. :DAs soon as we finish setting up all of the challenges later tonight, we'll be sending out a blast letting everyone in the group know about all the fun challenges we're doing for 2015 woohoo!!!

They don't have to be new to you, but the books of course need to be ones that you haven't read of theirs yet. :-)

True Nicole, we do like these authors and love many of their books but each of us had to list each of our 10 most loved authors so there are many good ones that got left out unfortunately.
This is probably an odd question, but do pseudonyms count? Like, for example, under Sylvia's list she has J.K. Rowling, but J.K. Rowling also writes under the name Robert Galbraith. If any of the authors on this list have a pseudonym, can we read those books as well?

Hi Savannah, yes, book written under pseudonyms do count. I'm sorry I thought we had added them for the all of the authors listed but I guess we missed this one.

This has already encouraged me to read Casey Quinn who has been on my kindle forever and i loved it! The other 2 i have read so far are from authors i have already read and loved before. hoping to pick up speed with this challenge after next month but loving the ones i have read soo far.

Okay since the Moderator's Choice RC was such a hit and so many of you requested a repeat, we've come up with an updated version of it that will give the participants the opportunity to discover and hopefully enjoy many great authors and books. In this new version of the challenge our group mods have compiled a list of their favorite authors.
For those of you wishing to participate, here are the guidelines for the challenge:
1. You can choose any book written by any of the authors listed in any of the moderator's list.
2. There is no limit to the number of books to be read.
3. The books can be any genre.
4. The books can be used in any other reading challenge.
5. The books need to be at least 150 pages long.
6. You can list the moderator's name in the recommendation field.
7. Create a shelf and name it 2015 Mods Authors where you will add in all of the books as you read them. Just post the link for your shelf here.
8. Reviews are welcomed and encouraged.
This challenge will begin on January 1, 2015 and end on December 31, 2015.
