DNF @ 30ish% (I had started skimming)
I got a good bit farther than the sample but I couldn't do it. I like the messy romances and I was looking forward to the angst that goes along with it, but I couldn't find anything likable about the H. The h wasn't much better. I just couldn't go on because it wasn't the angst that I was looking for that is underlined with hope...honestly I was kind of disgusted (which doesn't really happen to me since I don't have many triggers), but I'm definitely disappointed

I can live with a grovelling AH but this one was so plain and simple and gross no tension at all and she is so doormatish 🥲

There was something that really didn't work with me here and I'm not sure I really know why, maybe because I simply didn't like either character 🤷🏻♀️
