it was amazing

One of the best books I've ever read. Two men from different backgrounds meet and impact on each others lives. One extremely rich and one a poor refugee from the world war travels to America to make a name for himself. Well written with interesting charaters and story. Well worth a read.

Rick I followed it up with "Prodigal Daughter"...the story of Abel's daughter. There ARE some repetitions early in the book, but if you'd like to see what became of the family...it's a good read!

I have read the sequel recently and I did enjoy it. If you read the new revised version of Shall we tell the president Archer changed the president character to Abel's daughter

Aryan oh my god. look william's son is on good reads. your father was such a good man richard !

Michael Marstellar I couldn't agree more Richard! I would absolutely love to see this as a film ...as long as the movie had a great director who would do the book the justice it deserves!
