This was an enjoyable read. I really liked the characters and the plot. It's a retelling of the trials of Psyche and Eros, along with legends of the empousa and its later combination with the legends of lamia. That the main character is autistic (although never called that because the Greeks didn't have a word for that) was interesting. The book explored themes of abuse, disability, and feminism through compelling characters and situations.
