Marlow & Asher + half of the TEAM
It isn't easy to review a book as good as this one. The TEAM is a secret group taking on dangerous missions, some with the government's approval or even request. Other jobs are private. They are almost exclusively former military personnel with the highest skills.
On a rescue mission, they find Marlow tortured and cannot leave her behind even with the danger and time constraints. She isn't the easiest person after all the people who have betrayed her from childhood.
It takes time and the caring patience of the TEAM family, including the women and children, k9 puppies, and partners. Asher hadn't planned to add love to his life as had so many teammates. You know what they say about the best-laid plans. Every page will stir your emotions (bring tissues). Romance, steam, danger, and so much more. As always the author gives fans a wonderful experience.
