A case I've followed for years since first seeing a film or documentary about it, which I'm pretty sure wasn't the famed The Staircase, since I think that's a relatively recent release, and this was WAY before the Alford plea.......I plan on watching it soon, though.
There was a lot more in this about the girls, Martha and Margaret, and more of Elizabeth's and Kathleen's back stories I hadn't remembered. However, there was also a lot of stuff I recall that wasn't included in this Audible version. I'm not a fan of listening to books, really, but this was a free trial.
I enjoyed it, though. It's always been a very intriguing case and I have never been sure whether Mike was guilty or not. This certainly opened my eyes up to a whole other side of him......and not a good one, either, so one wonders.
