This was a very quick read for me. The dystopian future in this is well-built. It feels like something that could happen in twenty years, which makes the story feel even more disturbing than the “Jocks for Sale” series. I don’t think “mm romance” is the right label as the main character, Wesley, has absolutely no interest in men that we have seen so far. I do look forward to the next installment as this one ended on a cliffhanger, but I hope not all the MM encounters for Wes will be negative experiences for him.
