really liked it

I like these books a lot. This is a criminally underrated RH series, IMO. It’s not perfect and the world building 100% takes a backseat to the characters, but I don’t mind it. I can see the potential for the world to really grow and for the conflict to increase. But the first 2 books will definitely be for people that enjoy character driven stories. Maybe the whole series will be heavily character driven, and honestly I’ll still probably devour it. We learn a lotttttt more about Maven in this one. We still don’t know too much about her mates’ pasts, but I think I learned enough to get a good idea of who they are and what they bring to the table.

I just am so obsessed with how completely devoted and in LOVE with Maven they are. If you like a book with men that are obsessed, unhinged over her, and possessive, this is ittttttt. The spice was so good, and the way Maven finally starts to accept their affections was so satisfying to read about. She is definitely an all in or all out kind of gal, and she has decided that she is all in on her 4 mates. It is no longer just a touch her and die kind of book. It is now a touch THEM and die a slow, agonizing death kind of book. Maven is a psycho in the best way possible.

These are books you can gobble up, and I am looking forward to book 3 being released soon!
