OMG WOW. Did I eat this up? YES, YES I DID. Am I surprised? NO NOT AT ALL. Catherine Cowles writing will SUCK YOU IN. I was blessed with the audiobook for this book. Erin Mallon & Teddy Hamilton are few of my favorite narrators. I MEAN COME ON. TEDDY HAMILTON VOICE. I WAS MELTING. Didn’t even have to be a spicy scene. He can say anything, and I would be all hot and bothered.

Delicate Escape is the second book in the Sparrow Falls Series Following Thea Stewart & Shepard Colson. Thea is running from a past that haunts her & Shep is burying his feelings to act like everything is fine following the fall out of what happened to Rhodes. Thea is trying to rebuild her life alone. Until Shep won’t stop until she knows she cared and loved for. He will do everything in his power to get Thea to knock down her walls and prove to her that he is here to stay and that she can trust him.

I love them so much. Shep & Thea had great character growth throughout this book. They are both learning to love themselves again as they are falling for each other. Shep was patient with Thea to earn her trust. He was so possessive and protective. The way Thea reassured Shep that he was an amazing person & brother. I just love them so much.

Catherine Cowles is the queen of romantic suspense and every single book I read by her. I fall in love with her writing even more. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for the rest of this series.

AND LASTLY, No I did not guess the bad guy. AGAIN. But that’s not surprising. I always feel like I am close and catherine knows how to be like “NOPE. YOU ARE WRONG.”
