really liked it

This is not an academic work, which is why it so damn good. This is authentic romanticism which emphasized ones personal sense of life over a generic collective view. The authors' love and exuberance for the piece is so refreshingly authentic and stands at the opposite side of most contemporary books where one merely states their "opinion". This is also a mystical work which is another reason why it is remarkable that it was written today. Its equivalent to a piece by the Schlegels or Novalis in the Athenaeum of the early nineteenth century of literary philosophy. Awesome. Of course if you yourself love the 9th it will be an extra treat but I suggest all musicians read this as well for a trigger on why we should all be striving for using our creative imagination from out our world soul.
