Amber is my own mother. I didn’t expect the rollercoaster of emotions I felt reading this one. I cried, I laughed out loud, I annotated. I really liked Part of Your World, I loved Yours Truly, but Just for the Summer is easily my favorite. 100 stars!

Do you have to read books 1 and 2 before reading this one? Or can it work as a stand alone?!
Judy- you can read this as a stand alone. But it makes it so much better knowing the back story. 🙃
What are the others?? I would like to read after I’m done with The Housemaid is Watching!

i am so sorry you see amber in your mother. i know for a fact i would not have handled that “blow up” towards the end as well as emma did. 🫢 i hope emma learning to trust and love people outside of those that hurt her has reminded you people much better than the ambers in our lives exist. 🩷
