SERIOUSLY!!! Why’d I wait so long to read this book?! I bought it a year ago but let it sit on my kindle. Now, I’m kicking myself because this whole year I could have been experiencing BONES! Move over, Edward, there’s a new vampire in town and he’s sexy, British and has a sense of humor.

I laughed so hard while reading this book. Who knew vampires could be so humorous?!
•“Lucifer's bouncing balls, Kitten, not again!”
•“I am a nice young girl here to pick up your granddaughter for the weekend... We're going to a Bible retreat to scare the devil out of her. - Bones to Cat's grandparents”
•“One corpse, extra crispy! Do I hear a thousand dollars? ”
•“Kitty need's a tongue bath”
There are a lot more funny quotes but too many to list for this review.

Cat is a kick-ass half-bred. Atoning her father’s wrongdoing Cat becomes a night huntress killing vampires. After a wild meeting of Bones he convinces her to pair up with him in killing "bad" vampires. GO TEAM CATNES! (since I'm new to the series...I'm sure there is a cooler nickname for this couple than -catnes).
Don't even get me started about the sexy chemistry these two have going on. *fanning myself* I've been told I haven't seen anything yet because book two's chapter 32 is EPIC.
I love this couple because their banter is witty, entertaining and all-around fun. YES to seven books in this series! I feel like I hit the jackpot.
I did listen to this one and it was fun putting voices to these characters. The mom has the most annoying whiny voice and Timmie has a very timid voice. Very fitting for their characters. READ THIS or LISTEN TO IT.

Me either...I think the only other vampire book I've read is Twilight.
But the humor in this book was so funny...plus listening to the audio hit me right. :)
