My Side of the Mountain (Mountain, #1)

Just as I did when a child, I loved everything about this book. It's such a breath of fresh air. It's the stuff dreams are made of, and I love the vibe of it, just the thought of finding a place away from the hustle and bustle.
... I'd starve to death within a week, but that's a different matter entirety. Fiction books are there to spark imagination, not serve as guides on what to do with one's life, after all. (However many lessons might be learned within the pages of a good fiction book.)
But My Side of the Mountain remains as it was back when I was a child, a favorite.
