definitely gets repetitive after a while & the lack of queer identities outside of gay is disheartening, i was def looking forward to reading some trans perspectives. there’s a few bisexuals as well but i do think it’s a bit misleading to call your book the letter Q, Q standing for Queer, which is an umbrella term for ALL LGBTQIA+ identities, and yet it’s not very representative of all of us as a whole.
but, when i set my expectations aside and view the book for what it truly is, i think it’s phenomenal. a lovely concept and even better execution. these writers r so good at setting the scene and making you feel like you’re right there with their younger self. there’s lots of good advice in here and it’s very inspiring to see how far queer ppl can make it and how long& happy our lives can be. 💟
