Wow... this was... different. 😁😄
I love Lily Mayne's brain... I would never have imagined what this book was going to be. It was still full of the classic cozy and sweet romance that I expect from the author. Yet it was also something completely new and I haven't read anything like it before.
I felt just like Taylor, stumbling accidentally into a new world of craziness and wanting to stick around and learn more. I found Holt to be eccentric, smexy, and sweet. I'm so happy he and Taylor found each other.
I do think the spicy scenes took over the story at a certain point and though I found them to be hot as heck... I got a bit board and I wish some more plot was sprinkled in. Personal preference of course.
I look forward to more books in this world.
